Join the "Clean & Green" Revolution and ensure
your child's safety with non-wire, non-tire recycled rubber mulch that will simultaneously promote the environment and beautify
your yard or playground.
Our products meet ATSM-1292-99 and have been EPA tested. Our non-tire, 100 percent wire-free
recycled rubber is carefully cut and formed into “rocks” (pea gravel size for playgrounds, class 5 size for
landscaping), then colored one of eight dazzling colors. The special adherent colorant is guaranteed for ten years.
PRODUCT & SIZING
Soft Rock: Cut and trimmed to an average size of 1 5/8 inch, Soft Rock is designed
primarily for landscaping and is the ideal replacement for class 5 rock and wood mulch. Its beauty, durability and convenience
(virtually no maintenance required) key its remarkable marketability. Like all of our products, Soft Rock is manufactured
exclusively from non-tire recycled rubber and is 100 percent wire-free.
Soft
Rock is sold in bulk by the cubic yard and by the ton (there are precisely three cubic yards in one ton). One cubic yard covers
170 square feet at the recommended two-inch depth. One ton covers three times that much (about 500 sq ft) at a two-inch depth.
There is a considerable price break when ordering by the ton.
Safe Rock: Chopped to an average size of 3/8 inch, Safe Rock is the preferred replacement
for sand, wood mulch and pea gravel and used primarily for playgrounds. Safe Rock meets and exceeds the strict ASTM
guidelines for Fall Zone and Fall Height requirements. The Safety Fall Height is nearly double that of the non-rubber
alternatives - 7 feet at a four-inch depth, 12 feet at a six-inch depth. Safe Rock is the cleanest and "greenest"
- and certainly the safest - playground surfacing product on the American market.
Safe Rock is also sold in bulk by the cubic yard and by the ton. One
ton (the equivalent of three cubic yards) covers 225 square feet at a four-inch depth (the recommended depth for residential
playgrounds) and 150 square feet at a six-inch depth (the recommended depth for daycare and commercial playgrounds). The best
way to determine the tonnage required for your project is to determine the square footage of your playground and divide
it by 150 (to get to a six-inch depth), 180 (five-inch depth) or 225 (four-inch depth). If all of these math problems
are a bit much, do not hesitate to give us a call (651.222.8321) or shoot us an email (jjvrubbermulch@qwestoffice.net).

RECYCLERS!!
JJV
Rubber Mulch and Safety Surfacing, Inc is interested in recycling your NON-TIRE rubber waste. In fact, we are downright
passionate about it! In order for us to compete with America's tire chewers, we must rely on environmentally responsible
folks who manufacture products from rubber to share cutoffs, waste and products that do not meet specs with
us rather than ship them off to a landfill.
We already have working agreements with the following Minnesota manufacturers to retrieve
their rubber waste: Range Systems of Arden Hills; Midwest Rubber Service and Supply Co of
Plymouth; Nott Company of Arden Hills; Meridian Roller Company of Vadnais Heights; PGC
(Prescription Gasket Company) of Minneapolis; Donatelle Manufacturing of New Brighton; and Hi-Lo
Manufacturing Company of Minneapolis.
On May 15, 2009, we reached an agreement with the Roppe Corporation
of Fostoria, Ohio, one of the nation's leading manufacturers of rubber flooring, to become their Recycling Partner in
a joint effort to reclaim rubber products that have exhausted their normal life cycle and manufacture them into
new and environmentally responsible products rather than continue to irresponsibly bloat the nation's landfills.
It is a cutting edge commitment - and a marvelous demonstration of wise stewardship of the planet - on the part of the
Roppe Corporation.
JJV
Rubber Mulch and Safety Surfacing, Inc is aware that our non-tire rubber reclamation project has merely touched
the tip of the iceberg and invites rubber manufacturers across the length and breadth of this country to join in our effort
to recycle rather than dump. For more information about our program, please contact us at jjvrubbermulch@qwestoffice.net.
