Our premier Safe Rock playground surfacing is treated with a non-toxic, fire retardant paint. The product has been ASTM-F1292-99 and EPA tested. The safety fall height for Safe Rock is nearly double that of wood mulch, pea gravel or sand. At a six-inch depth, the safety fall height is 12 feet; at a four-inch depth, the safety fall height is 6 feet.

JJV Rubber Mulch & Safety Surfacing, Inc offers a 10-year warranty on the colorant on its rubber mulch products. Over time, the color will naturally deepen to a slightly darker tone (for example, red cedar will become a slightly deeper red; mocha brown will become a slightly darker brown). This limited warranty covers  manufacturing defects, but it does not cover damage or deterioration caused by negligence, abuse or improper installation.
