Rubber Mulch forged an historic agreement in May of 2009 with the Roppe Corporation of
Fostoria,
OH. One of the nation's leading manufacturers of rubber flooring, Roppe is requesting that all
of its vendors recylce rubber products that have outlived their traditional life cycle rather
than discard them
in our nation's landfill. JJV Rubber Mulch has been designated as
the final destination for the recycled
rubber. We are proud to be Roppe's "Recycling Partner"
and delighted that the products we manufacture
from non-tire recycled rubber were on
display in Chicago. Our dear friend, Dee Dee Brickner, Marketing
Coordinator for Roppe,
reported that the event was a resounding success, and that there was a great deal
of interest generated
in our rubber mulch products.

our involvement with the 100th episode
of ABC-TV's hit
show, Extreme Home Makeover, originally aired on Nov
25, 2007 and was
rerun on June 22, 2008. We donated
four tons of red cedar Safe Rock playground surfacing -
the kids loved it!
We are sad to report that we will not be at the Minnesota State Fair in 2009. Instead,
we
have funneled our meager marketing resources toward a show with a more international
flavor - the American Society of Landscape
Architects (ASLA) Expo at McCormick Place,
Lakeside Center, Chicago, IL from Sep 18-21, 2009. We will be in Booth 2514 - we invite
our
Fighting Illini friends and all attendees to stop by for a visit!
